Make it work indoors
- Walk, don’t run. Say it before clue 1, and put it on the first card.
- Spread the clues over at least three rooms, so the hunt doesn’t feel like it is going in circles.
- Skip rooms that are off limits, such as a sleeping baby’s room or a home office.
- Hide the treasure somewhere roomy: the bath, the toy box or under the bed.
- For a party, plan one clue per child plus one, so everyone gets to read one out.

Questions
How many clues do I need for an indoor hunt?
Five clues takes about 15 minutes. Eight takes about 25. Twelve takes about 40. Small flats work fine with five.
What can the treasure be?
Something to share: a bag of small toys, stickers, chocolate coins, a new board game, or the party bags.
Can I mix indoor and outdoor spots?
Yes. Start inside and end in the garden, or the other way round. Check the weather first.
