Rhyming clues

Rhyming clues that actually rhyme.

Tips for rhyming clues

  • Read each rhyme aloud before you print it. If you stumble, a child will too.
  • Keep it to four short lines. Longer rhymes lose new readers halfway.
  • Put the hiding spot in the last line: that is where children look for the answer.
  • Let a different child read each card at a party.
